My journey into the world of design started at a young age, ignited by the joy of creating banners on our family's dot matrix printer using rudimentary home publishing software. This passion has evolved over the years, guiding me to harness my design talents to assist individuals in securing their dream jobs or reimagining their clubs for the next generation.
My professional path began in a role I cherished deeply—being a chef. I embarked on this career at the now-defunct Charles Court at the Broadmoor Hotel, dedicating four years to mastering the art of exemplary customer service. My journey took me next to the mountains of North Carolina, where I embraced the close-knit ambiance of a small resort club, appreciating the significance of event marketing and member communication. My culinary adventure culminated at the Charlotte Country Club, where I leveraged everything I had learned. This role allowed me to use my skills in a new way by bridging various departments and organizing teams for large-scale events.
Having switched gears from that fast-paced lifestyle, I now find solace and joy in spending my days with my young children and nurturing my gardens. This transition has allowed me to stay connected to the club community, leveraging my wealth of experience to support fellow club professionals in enhancing their hiring materials.
